This is more than a chef role it s a chance to lead a kitchen, inspire a team, and make every mealtime a highlight of the day.
What You ll Do
- Plan, prepare, and cook wholesome, balanced meals, including texture-modified or special diets
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a small kitchen team to deliver consistently excellent food
- Ensure full compliance with hygiene, safety, and dietary standards
- Manage stock, ordering, and budgets efficiently to maintain quality and minimise waste
- Collaborate with care staff to meet individual residents needs
- Create themed meals and special events that engage and delight residents
- Experienced Head Chef, ideally with care, healthcare, or hospitality experience
- Passionate about nutrition, flavour, and improving residents wellbeing
- Strong leader who motivates and develops a team
- Organised, creative, flexible, and hands-on
- Make a tangible, positive impact on residents daily lives
