Location: Landmark of Rayne
Compensation: $28.00 - $32.00 / hour
Key Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of an occupational therapist, execute the therapeutic plans designed to help patients, including teaching adaptive equipment, guiding exercises, and engaging patients in activities integral to recovery and improvement.
- Contribute to planning and selection of therapeutic activities tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
- Regularly monitor and document patient progress; observe changes, report to the occupational therapist, and adjust interventions to ensure continuous improvement.
- Educate patients and families about the therapy process, use of adaptive equipment, and home modifications; provide clear instructions to support ongoing home practice.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current license/certification in the state of practice
