We are searching for new development engineer II to be based out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Raynham, MA

As a New Product Development Engineer II opportunities exist to work on product solutions to support Arthroscopic Visualization. This includes electro-mechanical systems and their respective components (Arthroscopes, cameras, tubing, powered blades and burrs, powered hand pieces, etc.). This leadership role will work closely with other functional team members to develop and grow the access instruments to support arthroscopy. You will be provided training curriculum including on the job, virtual, and in classroom.

The candidate will support and implement technical projects that advance product development, value creation, and the continued success of the DePuy Synthes portfolio. This role requires effective collaboration with multi-functional teams, external consultants, and suppliers throughout development and manufacturing..

The position offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of technical projects and influence the end-to-end product development process. The role is developed to provide the successful candidate with the resources, tools, and hands-on experience vital to develop and excel within orthopedic medical device development.

Own and drive project execution by developing and handling timelines and budgets, leading multi-functional teams, coordinating with key partners, proactively identifying project risks, and implementing mitigation plans to support successful delivery.

Demonstrate your leadership, technical and intellectual skills to tackle sophisticated issues and projects

Provide data analysis and directional recommendations from testing and development

Be responsible for creation of required engineering, specifications, and documentation

Collaborate with both internal, as well as external, manufacturers

Develop mechanisms and sub-assemblies of various machine and tooling systems
