- Collaborate with May Institute interdisciplinary team, including clinicians, therapists, and direct support staff creating personalized treatment plans for our individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Monitor individuals throughout the day, providing care for chronic and acute illnesses or injuries.
- Skillfully administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and care, ensuring the safety and well‑being of the individuals.
- Forge relationships with external healthcare providers, including primary care physicians and specialists to ensure seamless, integrated care.
- Use organizational skills to maintain meticulous records of progress and treatment interventions, ensuring healthcare records remain in compliance with state regulations.
- Sharpen your skills and share your expertise with trainings for direct care staff in the classrooms to provide optimal care based on individual needs.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive within an interdisciplinary team
- Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities, committed to evidence‑based practice and continuous quality improvement
