Experienced Roof Service Tech

We are growing and need a dedicated Roofing Service Tech to join our team!

• Gear up
  :
  Set up safety equipment using proper techniques
• Keep it tidy
  :
  Maintain a clean work area by removing debris, snow, water, and other obstructions. Remember this isn't a job site, it's a home.
• Demo & Deck
  : remove old materials and reinstall new decking
• Prep & Protect
  :
  Apply plastic coatings, membranes, or felt over sloped roofs before shingle application
• Seal the Dea
  l:
  Cement or nail flagship strips over joints to ensure watertight seals.
• Cut & Fit
  : cut and fit roofing paper, felt, shingles, and flashing info angles formed by walls, vents, and intersecting roof surfaces
• Line it up, top it off and layer it up
  : align roofing materials with roof edges, install slate, asphalt, wood, or other materials on roofs/exterior walls and ensure that overlapping layers of roofing materials are properly installed
• Communicate
  : effectively communicate with homeowners, project managers, and project coordinators

• Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing roofing issues (composite, flat, and wood shake)
• Proficient with tools like nail guns, hatchets, chalk lines, knives, and hammers
• Knowledgeable about power tool use and safety
• Familiar with OSHA scaffolding and ladder safety techniques
• Good at managing your time effectively to complete jobs
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks

• High school diploma or GED
• Construction/Roofing experience required
• Driver's license with a clean driving record

• Starting pay is TBD (pay is dependent on experience)

$23 - $30 an hour

Hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
