The role!
Position: Residential Assistant Program Director
Location: Reading, MA
Pay rate: $21.00 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Summary & Responsibilities
The Assistant Program Director supports the Director in the day-to-day operations of the program, including implementing agency policy, ensuring compliance with DDS statutory requirements, and overseeing the well-being of residents.
- Providing personal care and assistance to the people supported, consistent with their physical needs and support plans.
- Implementing policies, practices, and procedures of the Residential Program, protecting rights, confidentiality, and supervising health and welfare.
- Supervising medical health, nutritional standards, and general welfare; participating in development and review of Individual Service Plans.
- Participating in screening and selecting individuals for admission and staff recruitment processes.
Qualifications
- Active MAP certification
- High School diploma required; BA in Human Services or related field preferred
- Management or supervisory experience preferred
- At least 2 years supporting adults with developmental disabilities
- Passion and dedication to supporting our people
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background and reference checks
