Keyjob responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and technology teams to provide legal guidance on product development, system implementation, and robotics initiatives
- Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including technology, supply chain, licensing, and deployment contracts
- Assess and advise on legal, reputational, and compliance risks related to technical architecture and program design
- Provide strategic counsel on intellectual property matters and software licensing
- Develop and implement practical solutions to support business objectives while ensuring legal compliance
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
