Employee Benefits Account Executive

Remote - Western Mass | $80,000–$100,000 Base

A well-established independent agency with over two decades of experience, known for their strong relationships with municipalities and small to medium-sized businesses.

Drive long-term client success by building trusted relationships, shaping strategic growth plans, and ensuring customers realize maximum value from a diverse portfolio of solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster strong customer loyalty and sustain long-term account engagement.
• Create and oversee annual service plans for each account.
• Maintain consistent communication through in-person meetings, virtual discussions, written correspondence, and stakeholder briefings.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to municipal leaders, governing bodies, and community stakeholders by delivering guidance, training, and best-practice recommendations.
• Develop multi-year account growth strategies that align solutions with client priorities while identifying opportunities to expand service adoption.
• Partner closely with internal teams to share customer insights, escalate concerns, and drive timely issue resolution.
• Monitor market trends, emerging alternatives, and industry developments to strengthen competitive positioning and inform client recommendations.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years in an insurance brokerage working with group medical, multiple ancillary, dental, life, STD, LTD
• Strong background in contract negotiation
• Licensed to sell and service group insurance plans in Massachusetts
• CEBS certification not required but a plus
