As part of the mobile development team, you'll directly contribute to the Ring and Blink mobile platform and work to make the customer experience the best it can be. As part of a cross‑functional agile team you will:

• Develop and deliver mobile app features, UX flows, and UI components
• Collaborate with product and UX teams to develop and maintain features
• Work to continuously improve code quality, maintainability and app performance

• Work alongside other app developers and help raise the mobile app development bar
• Work with modern iOS development tools and principles such as Swift, MVVM, Swift
  
  UI, Reactive Swift, Combine, Alamofire, Core Bluetooth, Swift Gen, Swift Lint, and Instruments
• Support and influence key decisions within the mobile platform and promote best coding practices
• Develop features used by millions of customers each day
• Work closely with other team members to ensure new features are implemented in extensible, maintainable ways
• Regularly work with backend developers to help support how the app integrates with back-end services
• Write well‑tested code using modern architectural principles

• Experience (non‑internship) in professional software development
• Experience in professional, non‑internship software development
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object‑oriented design

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
