Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day payable operations for a growing team in Reading, Pennsylvania. This opportunity is ideal for someone who can manage invoice processing accurately, maintain organized financial records, and help keep vendor payments on schedule. Responsibilities:

• Review incoming invoices, assign accurate general ledger coding, and enter payment details with a high level of precision.
• Process accounts payable transactions in a timely manner, ensuring vendor obligations are handled according to established deadlines.
• Prepare and complete check runs and ACH payments while confirming supporting documentation is accurate and approved.
• Reconcile vendor statements and internal account balances to identify discrepancies and support timely resolution.
• Apply incoming cash receipts to the appropriate customer accounts and maintain clear records of payment activity.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to research invoice questions, payment status updates, and account issues.
• Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation to promote compliance and audit readiness.
