The Role
** The AP Vendor Master Data Clerk will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of vendor master data across Pipe & Tube systems. This role will support vendor onboarding, vendor record maintenance, regulatory reporting, and Accounts Payable operations while ensuring adherence to company policies and audit requirements.  
** Key Responsibilities
*** Create and maintain vendor master records in Pipe & Tube systems.
* Process vendor additions, updates, and changes in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
* Ensure all vendor documentation is properly approved, retained, and audit-ready.
* Maintain consistency of shared vendor records across systems, including payment terms and payment methods.
* Review inactive vendors and block or flag for deletion when unused for two years to reduce risk.
* Support annual 1099 and 1042 reporting processes for all Pipe & Tube entities.
* Provide backup support for Accounts Payable during vacations and peak workload periods.
* Provide backup support for Concur and Bank of America administrator responsibilities as needed.
* Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.  
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
* Experience in Accounts Payable, vendor master data management, or accounting preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Knowledge of internal controls, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
