- Tower Behavioral Health needs one locum Psychiatrist to cover full time starting ASAP. Specialty:
General Adult psychiatry Coverage Dates Needed: ASAP- 6 month assignment
What type of provider is needed? Psychiatrist
- Adult Description of Work Assignment:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adult inpatient admissions, daily follow ups, and discharge planning. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic psychiatric conditions using evidence based practices. Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans, including psychopharmacologic management. Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and patient response to treatment. Provide psychiatric intervention during crisis situations, including stabilization and de escalation. Collaborate with nursing, social work, psychology, primary care, and other clinical disciplines.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and care coordination. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic medical record. Adhere to all ethical, legal, regulatory, and organizational standards of care. Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement efforts

Monday
- Friday 8a to 5pmOn call? If so, what are the call hours? No Inpatient or Outpatient facility? Inpatient Does the Clinician need to be suboxone certified? No What drugs will be administered onsite?
Patient Load: 16 to 20
Will the patients seen be new or existing? Both Age of patients? 18+Case Load? 16 to 20
Board Status Requirement (BC/BE) Board Eligible Certifications Required? BLS, ACLS, PALS?? BLS Is there additional support staff?
Complete treatment team and nursing staff Is the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom?12 other providers Are there mid levels? If yes, is the locums provider responsible for mid levels?
