Duties:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Support residents with medication reminders and basic health monitoring, including taking vital signs when necessary
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental health and reduce feelings of isolation
• Help with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition tailored to individual needs
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
• Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques to prevent injury during transfers or mobility assistance
• Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with team members regarding residents' conditions or changes

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or residential care settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and behavioral management techniques
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, medication administration, CPR, and first aid certifications are strongly desirable
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous
• Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely when transporting clients or running errands
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with care
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to connect effectively with residents and their families
