Experience:

** Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security-related tasks and responsibilities effectively.

** Candidates must be proficient in using computers or tablets. This includes familiarity with basic software applications, internet navigation, and the ability to learn new technologies as required.

** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.

+ Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials, directing authorized personnel, and reporting access concerns according to site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.

+ Support loss prevention and asset-protection efforts by observing shipping, receiving, storage, and production areas and reporting suspicious activity, damaged property, or unauthorized removal of materials.
