Monday to Friday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Pay Rate: $28 - 32/hr

Job Description

This role is for a mechanically focused Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of production and facility equipment, ensuring reliable operation and strict adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform general preventive maintenance, repair, and sanitation tasks on production and facility equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on equipment to minimize downtime and maintain efficient production.
• Use hand tools, power tools, shop tools, welders, plasma cutters, and other equipment safely and effectively to complete maintenance and repair tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to diagnose issues and plan repairs on industrial machinery and systems.
• Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, including work on 3-phase power systems.
• Learn to operate, maintain, and repair any new equipment purchased in the future, as well as equipment not specifically listed, adapting quickly to changes in the plant.
• Organize maintenance stock rooms and storage facilities to ensure parts and tools are easily accessible and properly labeled.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment, with a strong mechanical focus.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial mechanical systems, including conveyors, gearboxes, motors, pumps, and compressors.
• Practical knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics for diagnosing and repairing related systems.

This is a Permanent position based out of Reading, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
