Corrections Stock Clerk - SCI Albion

Join the Department of Corrections (DOC) as a Stock Clerk at State Correctional Institution (SCI) Albion and take part in work that supports daily operations. This role gives you the chance to manage inventory, process deliveries, and support the commissary and warehouse. Your organization and dependability will help ensure materials reach the right places on time.

• Inventory Handling:
  Receive shipments, inspect materials, store goods properly, and maintain delivery logs
• Commissary Tasks:
  Process inmate orders, verify balances, stage items, and document transactions
• Inmate Supervision:
  Assign tasks, provide training, maintain attendance, and conduct searches for safety
• Equipment Use:
  Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other tools to move supplies safely
• Stock Replenishment:
  Order supplies and submit inventory requests using the SAP Warehouse Inventory System
• Record Keeping:
  Prepare reports, update inmate credits, record shortages, and maintain accurate documentation

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework:
  You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary:
  
  In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

• One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience ; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

• Successful completion of Basic Training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
