Corporate Audit Senior

A well-established and fast-growing accountancy firm in the Reading area is looking for a corporate audit senior to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified auditor looking to take the next step in their career, gain broader exposure across client sectors, and grow within a people-focused and supportive firm.

The role:

Leading and delivering audit assignments from planning to completion for a wide-ranging portfolio of corporate and owner-managed businesses

Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process

Reviewing work of junior team members, offering guidance and mentoring support

Preparing financial statements in line with relevant reporting frameworks

Identifying risk areas, technical challenges and contributing to process improvements

Working collaboratively with managers, directors and partners across the audit function

About you:

ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to completing your qualification

Strong experience delivering external audits within a UK accountancy practice

Passionate about audit, with a desire to deliver high-quality work and excellent client service

A positive, proactive team player who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting colleagues

Keen to take ownership of your development and help inspire those around you

Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships
