Senior Accountant Financial Reporting

Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment are partnering with a leading FTSE Listed business to recruit a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant into their finance team. This is a broad and hands-on role, ideal for a technically strong accountant who enjoys financial reporting, controls, and working closely with the wider business.

You will take ownership of key aspects of statutory and financial reporting, support month-end and year-end close, and help ensure the integrity of the balance sheet. The role will also involve working with senior stakeholders, supporting audit activity, and contributing to process improvements across finance.

• Prepare accurate financial reporting in line with relevant accounting standards.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and controls.
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc finance projects where required.
• Improve reporting processes and strengthen financial control.

• Qualified accountant, ACA with 2 years PQE
• Strong experience in financial reporting and month-end close.
• Good technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator who can work well with senior stakeholders.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP or finance systems.
• A proactive approach and willingness to get involved in a broad role.
