Band 4 Patient Pathway Coordinator (CAT Team 4 Gastroenterology)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and organised individual to provide specialist admin support to the Gastroenterology team.

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Clinical Team.
• Support the CAT in the delivery of a patient-focused service.
• Process general admin duties and scheduling of appointments.
• Answer telephone calls from patients, healthcare providers and internal staff.
• Process clinic letters and other administrative duties.
• Ensure compliance with local procedures, deadlines and best practice.

• Previous experience delivering high levels of customer/patient service in an administrative environment.
• Experience with in the NHS is preferred but not essential.
• Strong IT skills and experience using multiple computer systems and managing data (electronic and paper based).
• Knowledge of the 18-week pathway would be beneficial.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and colleagues at all levels.
