Are you an experienced, efficient administrator looking to provide support in a busy school environment with a specific focus on educational visits and examination administration?

Waingels, a popular 11-18 school where students achieved above national average in all measures and was identified as “continuing to be good” in a recent OFSTED inspection, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our support staff team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the general administrative needs of the school. The role will be wide ranging, covering all aspects of administration as required but with a specific responsibility for supporting the administration of educational visits and examinations. The role includes acting as a First Aider and providing reception when required.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a positive, flexible approach. Whether you already have experience working within a school or are looking to bring your administrative skills into education, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Has excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Can manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Communicates confidently with students, staff, parents and visitors.
  • Has strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and supporting young people.
Working with us offers you the opportunity to:
  • Join a “kind and caring school” where pupils “enjoy being part of the inclusive community” (OFSTED 2023) that aims to be an “exceptional school at the heart of our community”.
  • Join a school where we ensure staff well-being is central to our decision making.
  • Work in a school where the values of Respect, Kindness, Pride and Responsibility underpin all we do.
How to Apply

Our staff and students are proud of our school and we would be happy to welcome you if you would like to come and have a closer look round before applying. Additionally, please feel free to contact us for an informal conversation with a hiring manager.
