Temp for January - Studio Administrator wanted for Busy Architecture Studio

An award-winning architecture studio, recognised for its dynamic portfolio of landmark projects, is seeking a proactive and motivated Studio Administrator to join its expanding team. This diverse and fulfilling position lies at the core of the practice, working closely with directors and project architects to keep day-to-day operations running seamlessly. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will help convey the studio’s polished, welcoming, and creatively driven atmosphere.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact: handle phone calls, respond to enquiries, and greet clients and visitors.
  • Keep the reception area and meeting rooms tidy, well‑supplied, and ready for guests at all times.
  • Provide general administrative support across the team, including managing post, emails, filing, printing, document control, and expense processing.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, CPD sessions, and training bookings for the team.
  • Order office supplies and oversee basic office maintenance.
  • Assist with IT support in collaboration with external suppliers.
  • Contribute to updates for the practice website and manage social media activity.
  • Organise internal social events and help with external client‑facing functions.
Skills & experience required:
  • Excellent organisational abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • A confident, professional, and friendly communication style, both written and verbal.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A collaborative, adaptable approach to supporting colleagues across the practice.
  • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Canva, or comparable design software.
  • Experience using document management platforms (such as Blueroom).
  • Knowledge of Word Press or other content management systems.
  • Experience managing social media channels (Linked In, Twitter).

This practice offers a warm, team‑oriented culture where your contribution will be genuinely appreciated. You will receive a competitive starting salary with regular reviews, alongside clear opportunities for career development – including a structured progression path from Studio Administrator to Practice Manager and beyond.
