Vehicle Technician Vacancy in Reading

Up to £35,000 Salary. Vehicle Repair Fast Fit Centre Environment. Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm / Saturdays 8.30am - 5pm (3 out of
4) / No Sundays, Day Off in Week In Lieu.

Servicing & Tyre Fitting Duties. Previous Experience & Full UK Driving License Required.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician
  • Servicing, repairing, and maintaining customers' vehicles to the highest standards
  • Conducting wheel alignments and air conditioning recharge services
  • Replacing tyres, batteries, and exhausts as required
  • Working alongside industry professionals in a supportive team environment
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer specifications
  • Keeping accurate records of all work carried out on vehicles
Candidate specification
  • Must possess a full UK driving licence
  • Practical skills and a can‑do attitude
  • Knowledge of automotive repairs and servicing
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Previous experience in a fast‑fit automotive environment is preferred but not essential
  • The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for cars and customer service
