Heavy Vehicle Service Advisor Kautec Recruitment Calcot, Berkshire, England

We’re looking for an organised, confident and customer-focused Heavy Vehicle Service Advisor to join our busy HGV workshop.

You’ll be the link between our customers, technicians and workshop team
, managing jobs from booking through to completion and invoicing.

• Book in HGVs for servicing, repairs, inspections and MOT preparation
• Raise and manage accurate job cards

• Liaise with technicians to monitor job progress and identify additional work
• Keep customers updated on repairs, costs and timescales
• Obtain customer approval for additional work
• Order parts and liaise with suppliers when required
• Prepare accurate invoices for completed work
• Support the Workshop Manager with daily planning and workflow
• Maintain accurate workshop records and administration

• Experience in a HGV, commercial vehicle, fleet or dealership workshop
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple jobs
• Good understanding of workshop processes, job cards and invoicing
• IT literate; DMS experience would be an advantage
• A confident, practical approach and the ability to work under pressure
