We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller, HGV Workshop Controller or Commercial Vehicle Workshop Controller to join a busy commercial vehicle dealership. Applicants must have previous experience managing a commercial vehicle workshop, strong knowledge of HGV maintenance operations and Large Goods Vehicle Operator Licensing requirements, and the right to work in the UK.

Permanent, Full Time Job reference:31719 Why Apply Bonus and incentive schemes Overtime rates up to 130% 24 days annual leave Option to carry over up to 5 days holiday Additional Duvet Day Private Medical Insurance Company pension contributions up to 5% Life Assurance Ongoing training and professional development Workshop Controller Role Manage daily workshop operations, allocating scheduled and urgent repairs to HGV and Commercial Vehicle Technicians Maximise technician productivity, workshop efficiency and labour sales Monitor repair progress to ensure deadlines and customer expectations are met Oversee warranty claims, technical processes and accurate workshop documentation Manage, coach and develop Technicians, including performance reviews and training plans Work closely with the Depot Manager, Service Advisors and technical departments to improve workshop performance Maintain high standards of quality control, compliance, and Health & Safety Workshop Controller Requirements Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, HGV Workshop Controller or Commercial Vehicle Workshop Manager Proven experience running a commercial vehicle workshop Good knowledge of Large Goods Vehicle Operator Licensing legislation
Experience with warranty processes and claims Strong understanding of workshop loading, productivity, and performance targets Confident using workshop management systems and computerised processes Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Right to work in the UK
