The Commercial Executive – Content & Services supports the commercial performance of Virgin Media O2’s content and services portfolio. This includes TV content partnerships (e.g., Sky, Netflix, Disney, TNT Sports), network services (Roaming, IDD) and selected non‑core categories such as Insurance and emerging services.
Working closely with colleagues in Finance, Product, Trading, Supply Chain and external partners, you will help deliver commercial analysis, support the execution of commercial plans, and ensure the smooth delivery across the portfolio.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Provide commercial analysis and support to help deliver revenue, margin and performance targets across content and services.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of commercial plans across TV partnerships, network services and non‑core categories.
- Assist with pricing, bundling and monetisation activities by gathering data, preparing insight and supporting decision‑making.
- Manage regular reporting and forecasting processes, producing clear performance updates and highlighting risks or opportunities.
- Support the coordination of partner interactions and internal processes to enable onboarding and proposition launches.
- Track market activity and competitor moves to help inform commercial planning and performance reviews.
- Contribute to cross‑functional forums by preparing materials and supporting updates to stakeholders.
- Experience in commercial, analysis, trading or business support roles within telecoms, media, technology or related sectors.
- Understanding of the content, media and telecoms landscape and developing customer behaviours.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation, commercial reporting or forecasting.
- Ability to support and maintain productive working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present concise, insight‑led information.
- Well‑organised, able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast‑moving environment.
- Proactive, curious and comfortable working with ambiguity.
