Business Development Manager
Type:

Hours:
Fully field based – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Benefits

North East / South East of England
Owen Daniels supports a leading manufacturing company, and is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join on a permanent basis due to growth in the business.
Key Responsibilities- Build strong relationships with customers and distributors to support sales growth and customer retention.
- Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals and customer site visits.
- Manage the sales process and pipeline using CRM systems, prepared customer proposals/quotes, and negotiate with clients.
- Work closely with internal teams to share customer feedback and support business objectives.
- Monitor performance, maintain regular customer contact and report opportunities and progress to senior management.
- Proven track record of developing new business through cold calling and customer visits.
- Ability to plan and build a strong pipeline whilst meeting deadlines.
- Effective communicator who can build strong relationships with clients.
- Possesses excellent communication skills and stays professional at all times when engaging over the phone or in person.
- Full UK driving license.
