Estimator / VDA Vacancy - Reading!
Our Client, an established accident repair bodyshop with sites across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, is looking for an experienced Estimator / VDA to join their team in Reading.
Competitive salary of up to £50,000, dependent on experience. Working Monday to Friday (45 hour week 8am – 5pm) with Saturdays required only rarely due to business needs.
Duties- Assess the extent of damage to the structural, body, mechanical, electrical and interior components of the vehicle.
- Estimate parts and labour costs to repair damage.
- Prepare insurance forms to indicate repair costs and recommendations.
- Negotiate contracts with material suppliers.
- Monitor efficiency of work and processes to ensure quality repairs.
- Previous Audatex knowledge / ATA NVQ qualifications advantageous.
- Ability to keep up to date with developments in engine and electrical technologies.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Good organisational skills.
