Commercial Officer

Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

Provide Commercial Support to the G2E Consortium as a Leonardo UK Commercial Representative. The role requires presence in Reading and Luton. Supporting commercial activities for the consortium (in conjunction with the Partners) and Leonardo UK. Working with the wider commercial team to deliver the GCAP International Contract.

• The role will require the candidate to:
• Support the commercial teams with contract execution, in areas such as:
• Supporting Consortium and Customer engagements
• Managing change requests
• Invoicing and internal order management
• Review of contractual documents such as NDA's, MoU's & Contract Amendments
• Supporting the G2E Commercial Director with ad hoc commercial tasks
• Support in negotiation of change / new programme phases
• Produce pricing and support bid generation and proposal drafting

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is looking for a new challenge in a complex environment who wishes to develop their commercial skills and grow with the programme as it develops.

This is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
