Strategic Initiatives Lead
Drive delivery of OQC’s highest-priority strategic initiatives and C-suite sponsored programmes
Translate strategic objectives into integrated delivery plans with work streams, milestones and accountabilities
Coordinate cross-functional teams, align stakeholders and manage programme dependencies
Track milestone progress, surface risks early and resolve delivery challenges with stakeholders
Keep the executive team informed about progress, risks and decisions needed
Work with external advisers, aligning their input with programme priorities and delivery plans
Work closely with the Chief of Staff, executive team, colleagues across the business and external advisers
Turn strategic priorities into delivered outcomes and support OQC’s next phase of growth
- Strategy consulting experience at Associate, Senior Associate or Consultant level or equivalent
- Experience at a strategy consultancy supporting strategic, operational or transformation programmes
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Execution discipline to turn plans into outcomes
- Strong programme management capability
- Experience managing multiple work streams and coordinating cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive progress without direct authority
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisation and close attention to detail
- Proactive, low-ego approach with intellectual curiosity, personal accountability and flexibility
- Experience advising technology, deep-tech, software, fintech or other innovation-led businesses (nice-to-have)
- Experience working with private equity-backed businesses (nice-to-have)
Demonstrates strong programme management capability and execution discipline to translate strategic objectives into actionable delivery plans. Possesses outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while managing cross-functional initiatives.
