Purpose of the role

You’ll enhance the delivery of complex projects through project planning at the highest standards. You’ll devise strategies to improve project delivery, translate knowledge into a logic-linked plan, analyse it using planning software, and help teams understand what to prioritise.

This role is part of our Project Management Consultancy team, focusing on:

• Understanding the real problems of projects
• Implementing the best solutions to those problems
• Developing scalable best practices, tools and technology

You’ll be part of our Project Planning Team, leaders in the planning of complex construction projects. Your initial leader will be one of our planning discipline directors.

• Own the plan:
  Own the project plan for one or more projects and ensure the project works to it; mitigate delays and manage commercially
• Own the outcome:
  Ensure the project team’s understanding and focus on the plan, persisting with challenging teams
• Report and inform:
  Provide simple, actionable reports to stakeholders to help them deliver their part more efficiently
• Make scalable solutions:
  Develop scalable and repeatable best practices and tools with the team for long-term impact
• Develop everyone:
  Maximise development of your team and educate our clients to improve as well

• A construction engineering background with at least 2+ years of experience on construction projects
• Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to influence and engage construction professionals
• Leadership: proactively lead yourself and others by asking the right questions and challenging assumptions
• Impact: track record of delivering scalable, repeatable improvements that positively affect projects and organisations
