About the role

Our Regional Build business has a proud track record of creating high-quality environments across both public and private sectors, combining innovation, collaboration and operational excellence to deliver lasting value for our clients and communities.

Due to continued growth within our secure projects portfolio, we are looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager to join our Regional Build team, supporting the delivery of a major defence scheme in Berkshire. This is a unique opportunity to work on a nationally significant project within a highly secure environment, contributing to critical infrastructure that supports the UK's long-term defence capability.

What

you'll be doing
  • Lead the safe and successful delivery of a major defence construction project
  • Manage programme, commercial performance, quality and client relationships
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners
  • Drive performance against project milestones and operational objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all security, safety and governance requirements
Who we're looking for
  • Proven experience delivering construction projects within main contracting
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with in defence, secure environments, MOD or regulated sectors is advantageous
  • Excellent understanding of programme and project controls
  • Relevant construction qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
  • Ability to obtain or hold relevant security clearance
