Junior Project Coordinator

BCL has over 50 years of experience in the design, manufacture and installation of slatted timber and timber- panel systems for large commercial construction projects and have been at the heart of some of the most forward thinking and technically demanding modern commercial projects in timber.

based at our head office in Hurst, Berkshire. This is an office-based role offering an excellent opportunity to develop a career within the construction industry and would suit a Construction management/ Quantity Surveying graduate. You will work closely with our estimating, procurement, design and production teams, gaining experience across the full lifecycle of a project.

• Measuring quantities from technical drawings (take-offs)
• Liaise with suppliers, order materials and monitor budgets
• Assisting with design coordination between departments
• Ensure compliance with our Quality management System and Timber Chain of Custody

• Good communication and personal skills both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• IT proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel
• An interest in construction and commercial projects
• Team working skills
• Ability to read technical drawings ideal
• Must have own transport as our office is in a rural location

• Take off software
• Potential for onsite experience
• Immediate start but flexible for the right candidate

Salary up to £30,000 per annum

Full-time office based

Monday to Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm / Friday 9.00am- 4.00pm
