Front of House Team Member
Reading FWC | Customer | Permanent contract | Part time, £27,248 pro rata for 16 hours per week.
Role OverviewMake a great first impression. Provide excellent customer care to members and visitors, greet them warmly, and maintain the reception and café areas.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional and efficient customer service to all club visitors.
- Support the smooth running of reception and café areas.
- Create a friendly, relaxing and professional environment.
- Answer inquiries in a caring and helpful way, ensuring everyone feels valued.
- Assist the café team by preparing and serving fresh, healthy, nutritional food and drinks.
- Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo on‑site training to cover lifeguard breaks.
- Confidence and empathy with a strong customer‑service focus.
- Excellent communication skills face‑to‑face and over the phone.
- Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
- Flexible, motivated, and self‑initiated.
- Willingness to learn and adapt as part of a team.
