Resident Services Coordinator
Overview
We are partnering with a rapidly expanding residential property business that continues to invest heavily in its people and customer experience function. As a result of ongoing growth, we are looking to appoint a Resident Services Coordinator to join our Reading-based team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, resolving queries, coordinating solutions and delivering a first‑class service.
You will become a key point of contact for residents, helping to ensure a smooth and positive experience throughout their tenancy journey.
Position: Resident Services Coordinator
Location: Reading
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 + Benefits
Working arrangement: Hybrid – 4 days in office, 1 day from home
- Handling inbound calls from residents and providing a professional, friendly and efficient service
- Making outbound calls to residents to provide updates and proactive support
- Managing customer enquiries and service requests from initial contact through to resolution
- Following up with residents to ensure issues have been resolved and service standards have been met
- Accurately recording all customer interactions within the CRM system
- Coordinating appointments, inspections and access arrangements
- Supporting residents with tenancy‑related enquiries and processes
- Assisting with virtual move‑in activities and resident onboarding
- Providing basic support and guidance relating to property technology and connected home systems
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure requests are handled efficiently
- Escalating urgent or complex issues where appropriate
- Supporting wider operational and administrative projects as required
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in the following roles:
- Customer Service Advisor
- Contact Centre Advisor
- Call Centre Advisor
- Customer Support Executive
- Service Coordinator
- Customer Experience Advisor
- Helpdesk Advisor
- Resident Services or Housing Customer Service roles
You will also have:
- Previous experience in a telephone‑based customer service environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administration and organisational abilities
- A professional and empathetic approach to customer interactions
- The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving
- Strong attention to detail
Property sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Full training will be provided.
