Overview

A well-established GP surgery in Reading, Berkshire is seeking a dedicated Salaried GP to join its friendly and forward-thinking team. The practice offers a supportive working environment where clinicians are valued and encouraged to maintain an excellent work‑life balance. With a focus on collaboration and innovation, the surgery is known for high patient satisfaction, proactive leadership, and a recent CQC rating of ‘Good’ (January 2024).

You will be joining a practice that blends traditional patient-centred values with efficient digital systems, ensuring that each GP can focus on meaningful clinical care while being fully supported by a skilled multidisciplinary team.

• Provide high-quality general practice clinical care as a Salaried GP within the team
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and participate in PCN activities
• Offer patient-centred care with efficient use of digital systems
• Contribute to the maintenance of a supportive, wellbeing-focused work environment

• £11,500 per session
• 6 sessions per week
• Approx. 12 patients per session
• 15-minute appointments
• Paid admin session
• Minimal home visits
• Protected CPD session weekly (pro rata)
• Systm One
• 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave
• Strong multidisciplinary and PCN support
• Supportive GP partners fostering wellbeing and long-term career development
