Key Responsibilities as a Year 1 Teacher:

To plan and deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
To work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents and carers
To make use of a wide range of assessment strategies to monitor progress
To support students academic, social and emotional development
To contribute to the wider life of the school

The ideal Year 1 Teacher:

Will hold QTS
Have a strong understanding of the UK curriculum
Be enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and be committed to the high standards of teaching and learning
Be interested in committing to professional development
