This role offers the opportunity to plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students and enable them to make exceptional progress. The successful candidate will contribute to a strong and collaborative teaching community, supporting high standards of learning, behaviour and achievement across the school.

As a classroom teacher, you will design effective learning experiences, uphold consistent routines and contribute to the wider life of the school and Trust. You will support students in setting aspirational goals, monitor progress carefully, and create an environment where every learner can thrive academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities Teaching and Learning
  • Deliver well-planned, challenging and inspiring lessons that align with Trust and school curriculum expectations.
  • Support students to manage their own learning effectively and achieve ambitious outcomes.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom practice, including assessment, feedback and behaviour management.
Assessment and Progress
  • Use formative and summative assessment to track progress, inform planning and identify appropriate interventions.
  • Provide constructive feedback that enables students to improve and reach their potential.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers about student progress, targets and next steps.
Behaviour and Wellbeing
  • Uphold and model the Trust’s Behaviour, Safeguarding and Inclusion policies to ensure the wellbeing of all students.
  • Create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Promote good attendance, positive relationships and high standards of conduct across the school.
Collaboration and Professionalism
  • Work collaboratively within departmental and tutor teams to share practice and support consistency.
  • Contribute to extra-curricular activities and wider school events.
  • Engage in professional development and appraisal to maintain high standards of practice.

  • Qualified Teacher Status and a strong subject knowledge.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver effective lessons that secure student progress.
  • Understanding of assessment, curriculum design and differentiation.
