Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Reading (ASAP Start)

Are you an aspiring primary school teacher? This is the perfect opportunity for you! A Primary school in Reading is currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to start ASAP. The teaching assistant will work alongside the teacher, helping children with their learning. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to develop experience within education.

A graduate with a degree graded 2:1 or above is ideal for this role, and a graduate with some previous experience working with children is desirable. Relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring, helping within a nursery, in a sport setting, charity or in a similar classroom setting.

Contract:

1 year. Competitive pay rate: £89-£100 per day.

Location:

Reading.

Requirements:

• Graduate with 2:1 or above.
• Previous experience with children in a similar setting.
• Passionate about supporting children's education.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the teacher and support children in numeracy and literacy within Key Stage 1 and 2.
• Ensure each child fulfills the learning objective for each lesson.
• Support classroom activities and help create a positive learning environment.
