Position Overview
Teaching Assistant – Tilehurst – ASAP Start, Outstanding Primary School.
£89-£95 per day, 1‑year full‑time contract. Opportunity for teacher training in September 2026.
Key Responsibilities- Support a Year 1 class as part of the teaching team.
- Assist in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring pupils reach their potential.
- Provide support to any students with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Degree level education – a 2:1 or above preferred.
- Experience working with children required (e.g., tutoring, holiday club, previous T.A. role).
- Strong academic background and proactive, personable attitude.
- Experience with SEN children desirable but not essential.
