Role SummaryAn excellent Primary school in Reading is currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs and Behavioural Needs. The position will involve working 1:1 with pupils with Special Needs and challenging behaviour in the school.
Key Responsibilities- Working 1:1 with pupils with Special Needs and challenging behaviour.
- Providing support to children with mental health difficulties, challenging behaviour, and learning disabilities such as autism.
- Graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above.
- Previous experience working with SEN children is desirable.
- Excellent behaviour management skills and, ideally, restraint training.
- 1 year contract
- ASAP start
- £90-£95 per day
We are looking for a confident, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic and passionate about their input into a child's education. Graduates are welcomed.
