Holiday Club Level 2 Swimming Teacher - Woodley, Reading
Job Type : Holiday Camps Only – 5 hours per week
Short Description : We are seeking an experienced STA Level 2 or equivalent Swimming Teacher for ages 4-11 years old.
Location : Bulmershe Leisure Centre Woodley, RG5 3EU
Work Dates : All School Holidays including Summer & October Half Term
Hours : 1 Hour per day for Swim Teaching (2pm-3pm) – 5 Hours total per week with extra hours available as an Activity Leader during the day if desired.
Operational Hours : Monday to Friday during all school holidays
Pay : £15 per hour for swim teaching & £12.21 if covering as an activity leader if desired.

- Plan and deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to different skill levels and ages (4-11 years old).
- Always ensure safety by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents, providing feedback on progress.
- Monitor and assess individual performance, adapting lessons as needed.
- Maintain poolside professionalism and act as an ambassador for JAG.
We’re looking for someone with:
- A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring confidence in the water.
- Relevant Swim Teacher qualifications (e.g., ASA Level 2 or equivalent).
- Experience teaching swimming to individuals or groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
