Responsibilities
- Deliver structured BSL lessons to individuals or small groups (in-person or online).
- Create lesson plans tailored to learners' levels, goals, and learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote Deaf awareness and inclusive communication within the learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with learners, families, and/or organisations as needed.
- Minimum Level 3 BSL qualification (Level 4 or 6 preferred).
- Recognised teaching or tutoring qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DET, PGCE) desirable.
- Proven experience teaching or tutoring BSL.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Based in or able to travel to Reading, Berkshire
.
