This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious English Teacher who can deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, helping students develop a love for literature and strong written and verbal communication skills. This role is ideal for an experienced English Teacher in Reading or a talented ECT ready to start their teaching career in a school that values creativity, challenge, and achievement.

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS4 and KS5
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in English Language and Literature
• Track and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback and interventions
• Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and engagement in every lesson

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
• Experience teaching GCSE (and ideally A-Level) English
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to raising achievement and nurturing students’ confidence in English
• Enthusiastic, reflective, and a great team player
