• Plan and deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to different skill levels and ages (Ages will vary between 4‑11 years old).
• Always ensure safety by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Build strong relationships with students and parents, providing feedback on progress.
• Monitor and assess individual performance, adapting lessons as needed.
• Maintain poolside professionalism and act as an ambassador for JAG.
• A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring confidence in the water.

• Relevant Swim Teacher qualifications (e.g., ASA Level 2 or equivalent).
• Experience teaching swimming to individuals or groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable). We will conduct a DBS check on your behalf, so please prepare the correct documentation. You must meet these requirements to be eligible for the hiring process.

All School Holidays including Summer & October Half Term. 1 Hour per day for Swim Teaching (2pm‑3pm) – 5 Hours total per week with extra hours available as an Activity Leader during the day if desired. Operational

Hours:

8.30‑17.30 Monday to Friday during all school holidays.

£15 per hour for swim teaching & £12.21 if covering as an activity leader if desired. NB: you can work full days as our Activity Leader for the remaining hours if desired.
