Behaviour Mentor - Reading. ASAP Start | Full-Time. Are you confident, resilient, and passionate about helping young people overcome behavioural challenges?
A supportive SEN and SEMH school in Reading is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to work closely with pupils who require structure, consistency, and positive role modelling. This full-time role is ideal for individuals interested in behaviour management, psychology, youth work, or mental health.
You will be supporting students with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, trauma-related behaviours, and emotional regulation difficulties, helping them engage positively with learning.

Reading - Salary: £89-£100 per day
- Start Date:
ASAP - Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm - Age Range:
Young People aged 11-18
- Support students using de-escalation strategies and behaviour plans
- Work 1:1 with pupils who struggle with emotional regulation
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Collaborate with SENCOs, Teachers, and mental health professionals
This Behaviour Mentor role provides invaluable experience in trauma-informed practice and behaviour support, making it an excellent foundation for future careers in teaching, psychology, counselling, or youth justice.
