Role Overview

The successful candidate will:

• Provide clear, dynamic leadership for the Business department
• Lead on curriculum planning, assessment strategies, and raising achievement across all key stages
• Support, mentor, and develop departmental staff
• Deliver high-quality teaching with a strong focus on student progress
• Contribute to wider school initiatives and collaborate effectively with senior and middle leaders

Essential Requirements

• Proven school leadership experience (e.g., Head of Department, Second in Department, or equivalent)
• Strong subject expertise in Business and the ability to deliver outstanding lessons
• A track record of improving outcomes and driving high standards
• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to inclusive practice and enabling all learners to succeed
• QTS and appropriate teaching qualifications
