Overview

Behaviour Support Mentor at Highdown School and Sixth Form Centre, tasked with building positive relationships with students to support learning, emotion regulation and navigating secondary school life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to key students during lessons.
  • Guide students during unstructured social times.
  • Assist with the Behaviour Hub (Bridge) when needed.
  • Work closely with pastoral, SEN and safeguarding teams to create a safe, structured environment.
  • Act as a calm and reliable presence across the school.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Highly motivated and successful individual, willing to contribute to the school vision.
  • Experience of working with young people in schools, youth work, mentoring or similar environments desirable.
Working Details

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: GLF Associate 3, FTE range £25,469 - £26,115 (actual £21,910 - £22,466)

Working pattern: Full time (36 hours per week), Term time only

Closing Date: 28th May 2026
