The successful History Teacher will be a fully qualified professional (QTS essential) with a passion for bringing the past to life. As a teacher, you will inspire curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and deliver engaging lessons that motivate students of all abilities.

• Demonstrates a genuine passion for Humanities alongside strong classroom management skills
• Can plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and interactive lessons across KS3-KS4
• Is committed to the science of learning and ongoing professional development
• Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, contributing positively to a collaborative team
• Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a clear commitment to improving student outcomes

• Degree in History or a related Humanities subject
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the KS3-KS4 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive department
