A specialist mental health school in Reading is seeking a Criminology Graduate to join their team as soon as possible, as a Learning Support Assistant.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who face a range of social, emotional and mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, attachment needs, and low self‑esteem. Your role will be crucial in helping them navigate the school day, providing academic guidance and therapeutic support.
Responsibilities- Working 1:1 and in small groups with vulnerable students.
- Learning and implementing a trauma‑informed, therapeutic approach within the classroom.
- Helping students build confidence, resilience and emotional regulation skills.
- Tutoring students in key subject areas, particularly where they are less confident.
- Collaborating with Teachers, Therapists and other support staff.

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm - Hours:
90 – 100 per day - Start:
