This school is looking for an experienced EYFS/KS1 SEN Teacher to lead a small class of pupils with autism, communication needs, and developmental delay. You will plan and deliver highly differentiated, play-based and structured learning activities that support early communication, social development, and foundational academic skills. You will work closely with support staff and therapists to ensure each pupil s EHCP targets are met through a personalised approach.
The ideal EYFS/KS1 SEN Teacher will have strong knowledge of early years development, excellent behaviour management skills, and experience adapting learning for pupils with complex needs. This is a permanent position starting ASAP.
The SchoolThis is a specialist SEN school supporting approximately 70–120 pupils aged 4–16 with autism, communication needs, and moderate learning difficulties. The school provides a structured, nurturing environment with small class sizes, a strong focus on early intervention, sensory learning, and communication development. The school is typically rated Good by Ofsted.
Qualifications & Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required
- Qualified EYFS or KS1 teacher with SEN experience
- Strong knowledge of early years development
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Experience adapting learning for pupils with complex needs
